We offer a 14-day return policy, meaning you have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, the book must be in the same condition as when you received it - unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.
You're welcome to unpack and inspect the book as you reasonably would in a shop before buying it. If it comes back showing signs of handling beyond that, we may deduct an amount from your refund reflecting the reduced value - but this won't disqualify you from a refund altogether.
To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@chessfunforlittleones.com. Returns should be sent to our warehouse in the United States and in the acknowledgement of your return, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
The return shipping cost may be your responsibility, depending on the reason for the return. For example, it is free of charge if the item is faulty, defective, or was sent to you incorrectly, and is payable by you for other reasons such as a change of mind.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days (business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays). Please note that banks and credit card companies may take additional time to process the refund.

This section applies if your order was shipped to the UK, EU or EEA.
In line with UK and EU/EEA Right of Withdrawal (Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off), you have a legal right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, without needing to give a justification.
You can exercise this right by using our online withdrawal form at http://www.chessfunforlittleones.com/request-a-withdrawal, or by contacting us at contact@chessfunforlittleones.com with a clear statement with your order number and that you wish to withdraw.
You do not need our approval to withdraw - this is a legal right, not a request. As long as you tell us before the 14-day period ends, your withdrawal is valid, even if you haven't sent the book back yet.
Once we receive your withdrawal, we'll send you a confirmation by email, including the date and time we received it.
Once you've told us you're withdrawing, please send the book back to us without undue delay, and at the latest within 14 days of telling us. Please return the book in the original packaging to protect it and add a slip with your order number so we know it's from you.

We will refund you within 14 days of the date you told us you were withdrawing. We may withhold the refund until we've received the book back, or until you've given us evidence that you've sent it (for example, a tracking link) - whichever happens first.
Your refund will include the cost of the book and the standard delivery cost you originally paid to receive it. If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery option, we will only refund the cost of our standard delivery option.

If more than 5 business days (business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the UK) have passed since you gave us your tracking evidence, or we received the item back, and you still haven't been refunded, please contact us at contact@chessfunforlittleones.com.

If you’d like to exchange your book for a different one, the quickest way is to request a return and, once approved, place a new order for the item you want.
